This is the first full-length album written by long-time songwriting partners, Andre Forget and Peter Learn since 2004's Acousticah white album. The lyrics and music have finally become one with a defined path and insightful, honest depiction of raising a family, love lost and learning to accept and believe in who you are.

    Andre is an experienced musician both performing live and working in the studio. He has shared the stage with many great performers over the years and played across the country numerous times. His career began working as a road technician and later a live sound technician before starting his first professional band Wexler's Curtain.

    In 14 years of playing Mike Brushey has toured across the country and had the pleasure of sharing the stage with acts such as Form One, Ember Swift, Wax Mannequin and Mike Murley and has worked as both a recording and performance session player for numerous other rock, jazz, fusion and country acts and Broadway style musical productions.

    Skilled in both the upright and electric bass, Phill Albert is well versed in many musical styles including: jazz, classical, folk, R&B and Rock. As a 25 year old person, Phill has enjoyed a 5 year professional career thus far, and looks forward to a long, fruitful career.

  • Peter Learn

    "Music has been a part of Peter’s life for as long as he can remember. Over the years he has played piano, guitar, violin, viola, drums and guitar. He has done extensive studio work and played thousands of live shows, cover and original and live theatre. The last decade has seen Peter playing, writing and recording with lifelong friend Andre Forget. The consummate side guy, Peter had learned more than anything to always play for the sake of the song."


About The Recording

The recording took place on June 18-19, 2012 at the very house where the majority of the songs were written over the past several years. During a home renovation the idea came to use the stripped down space to capture the energy of the songs in a live recording session. With little room and temperatures exceeding 30 C (AC turned off to reduce the hum on the tracks) the songs were performed live and captured with every ounce of honesty and feel that was available. This was truly a special couple of days and took the collective efforts of everyone involved to make the magic happen.
